The United Way of Cape May County & Domino's Pizza of Wildwood partnered with the Lunch With Lynch Foundation to help
Raise a Reader
Every child in Pre-K and Kindergarten received a brand new book. The parents were invited to school for a light breakfast where the teachers explained the importance of reading to their children.
Our Latin American students were given a bilingual book called Bear About Town (Oso en la cuidad) and the rest of the students received a book called I Can Fly.
The parents were given a contract that encouraged them to read the new book to their child a minimum of 5 times before the end of the school year. Those who completed the task signed the contract and returned it to their teacher.

The teacher issued a coupon to the student for a complimentary personal 6" pizza "donated" by our partner Domino's Pizza of Wildwood.
“The more you read, the more things you will know.
The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.”

Over 95% of the contracts were returned!!!
